Tom Douglas-Walker

Tom Douglas-Walker

1st year PhD student

University of Edinburgh

Tom completed his undergraduate degree in Chemical Physics at the University of Edinburgh and joined the group as part of his master’s year research project. Having established an enthusiasm in gas-phase spectroscopy and laboratory astrochemistry, Tom was inspired to undertake a PhD within the group. During his masters year, Tom focussed on investigating the structural properties and electronic spectroscopy of endohedral metallofullerenes. He is now investigating vibrational structures of a variety of astrochemically-relevant carbonaceous molecules as part of the first year of his PhD.
