Dr. Ewen K. Campbell received a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and then a DPhil in Physical Chemistry from the University of Oxford, England, the latter under the supervision of Prof. Mark Brouard. He spent several years as a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. John Maier’s group at the University of Basel, Switzerland. In 2018 Ewen was awarded a University Research Fellowship from the Royal Society to start his group at the University of Edinburgh. He is interested in the development and use of experimental methods to investigate the spectroscopy and chemistry of molecular ions of astrochemical importance.
